Following initial training needs
analysis, DTS facilitated a series of senior management
planning sessions to produce an agreed understanding
of the Team Leaders Role and created an integrated
Training and Development Programme.
The review
of the Team Leaders’ Role covered:
- What is our vision for the Team Leader Role
and how it contributes to our business strategy?
- Job Purpose and the key qualities required
- The changing nature of the Team Leader role
The outcome of the review/
consultation was to bench mark the development
of team leaders against the NVQ in Management,
whilst running parrallel development programmes
on focused and agreed essential, management skills,
tailored to the business need.
