Train-the-Trainer, Bombardier Transportation

Two programmes meeting two specific short-term trainer development needs in Bombardier Transportation.

1. An intensive, 3-day programme for a member of staff who has responsibility for the design and delivery of technical, job-based training programmes including group-based, classroom sessions and on-the-job instruction.

2. A two-day programme for three members of staff who have less responsibility for training design, but who prepare for and conduct both classroom and on-the-job training sessions.

Programme activities were designed so that they can easily be linked to units of competence from the NVQ Learning and Development awards.

Delivery of Vocational Assessor and Verifier Awards, Kent Business Link

DTS won a contract to deliver 20 TDLB awards to Kent based clients. Kent Business Link part funded each candidate with the remainder paid by the employer.

Clients on above project ranged from Engineering to Hairdressing and included:
